With London 2012 there are all sorts of job opportunities for all sorts of people, including those currently out of work and students. More than 100,000 people will be paid to work on the Games, all of them with different backgrounds, skills and experiences.

From catering to IT, from stewarding and security to cleaning, there are a wide range of paid roles (besides those opportunities for voluntary work) available during what's known as the Games time. Some of these contracts might be longer than the 'Games' duration, starting a few weeks before the great events, but you should expect that most of these positions will only exist during the Games.
